사업목적

Overview:

• ㅇ 선발 인원: 100명(학사 25명, 석․ 박사 75명)
  ㅇ 지원 내역
   - 생활비(매월 95만원), 최초입국 ․ 최종출국 항공료, 최초소요경비(50만원), 한국어 연수(필요시), 논문인쇄비(50만원), 보험료(질병, 상해, 사고) 등
   - 장학생 역사문화체험, 멘토링 활동 지원, 지역별 네트워크활동 지원, OKFriends 활동 지원 등 국내외 
  동포간 교류활동 기회 제공
  
  ○ Finalists: 100 students (25 Bachelor's, 75 Master's and Ph.D.)
  ○ Support:
   - Living expenses (KRW 950,000 per month), one round ticket for the first flight, costs spent on the first 
  time (KRW 500,000), Korean language workshop (if needed), cost for printing thesis (KRW 500,000), 
  insurances (disease, injuries, accidents), etc.
   - Providing students with exchange activities with overseas Koreans in Korea and abroad, Korean history
  and culture experience, mentoring support, network activities support by regions, OKFriends activities 
  support, etc.
  
  ㅇ Количество: 100 человек (бакалавр 25, магистр/доктор философии 75)
  ㅇ Поддержка:
   - Расходы на проживание (950 000 вон в месяц), первый въезд в страну и окончательный 
  авиаперелет при вылете, первоначальная стоимость (500 000 вон), обучение корейскому 
  языку (при необходимости), плата за печать диплома (500 000 вон), страховой взнос (болезнь,
  травма, несчастный случай) и т. д.
   - Предоставление возможностей для обмена между местными корейцами и зарубежными
  соотечественниками, таких как исторический и культурный опыт для стипендиатов, 
  поддержка наставнической деятельности, поддержка деятельности региональной сети и 
  поддержка деятельности OKFriends.

사업대상

ㅇ 필수사항: 동포사회 및 거주국과 모국의 상생 발전에 기여할 인재로서의 자질을 갖춘 자 중 성적 우수자
ㅇ 우대사항
 - 유공동포 후손 및 동포사회 발전에 기여한 재외동포 후손(증빙)
 - 경제 여건 곤란자(증빙 또는 공관 확인)
 - 입양동포 및 입양동포의 자녀
 - 한국어 능력 우수자(성적확인)

ㅇ 거주국 국적 또는 영주권 취득자 또는 대한민국 국적을 보유한 재외동포로서
 - 지원 직전과정까지의 모든 교육과정을 해외에서 이수 또는 이수 예정인자
 - 2022년 9월 학기 또는 2023년 3월 학기 국내 대학(원) 입학 예정자
※ 단, 2021년 9월 또는 2022년 3월에 국내 대학(원)에 이미 입학하여 재학 중인 자는 지원 가능

○ Required: Honor students who have great potential to contribute to the development of overseas 
Korean communities, their country of residence, and their home country
○ Priority:
 - Descendants of notable overseas Koreans and descendants of overseas Koreans who contributed 
themselves to the development of overseas Korean society (related documentation needed)
 - Financially disadvantaged persons (related documentation needed or checked by public office)
 - Korean adoptees or children of Korean adoptees abroad 
 - Fluent speaker of the Korean language (test results needed) 

○ Overseas Koreans with overseas permanent residency or citizenship or overseas Koreans with 
Korean nationality
 - Expected to complete all the educations abroad before the application
 - Expected to attend graduate school in Korea in Fall (Sep.) semester in 2022 or in Spring semester 
(Mar.) in 2023

※  A person who already admitted to and currently attends graduate school as of Sep. 2021 or 
Mar. 2022 is eligible to apply for this program.

일정 및 기간

ㅇ 3.7.(월)~4.3.(일): 지원자, 지원 신청서를 온라인(코리안넷) 및 오프라인(공관) 제출
ㅇ 4월~5월: 재단, 신청서 검토
ㅇ 6월 말: 재단, 선발 심의 및 선발 결과 발표
※ 상기 일정은 변경될 수 있음

○ Mar. 7–Apr. 3: Submission of application via online (Korean.net) or offline (public office)
○ Apr–May: Review of application form by the foundation
○ Jun: Review and selection by the foundation, followed by announcement of results
※ Schedule is subject to change
