2월 여자아이를 강소성 무석시에서 출생 하였는데, 한국 출생신고를

하고자 합니다. 영사관에서 처리가 가능한지 알고 싶으며, 가능 하다면

필요한 서류가 무엇 인가요?

A. 민원인님의 경우 저희 상하이영사관에서 출생신고 가능합니다. 반드시 한국 국적을 소유하고 계신 박석규님께서 영사관 방문 후 신고해주셔야 합니다.

출생신고 필요한 서류:

1. 출생신고서 2장(당관비치, 영사관홈페이지 참고)

2. 한국적(부/모)의 여권

3. 출생의학증명서 공증처 공증(한글번역) 후 외사판공실 외교인증 받아야 함.

4. 혼인신고날짜 기준으로 10개월 내에 아이가 출생한 경우 모의 미혼증명서 공증처 공증(한글번역) 후 외사판공실 외교인증 받아야 함.

Q. My wife is Chinese and I registered a marriage both in Korea and China.

My wife gave birth to a daughter in Wuxishi, Jianghsu Sheng in February. We would like to register the birth of our baby in Korea. Could we register it at the consular office? If so, could you let me know the necessary documents?

A.You can register your baby’s birth at Shanghai consulate, provided that you Park Seok-gyu with Korean nationality personally visit our consular office to take care of it.

Documents required for the birth registration:

1. 2 copies of an application form for the birth registration(offered by our consular office. Refer to Shanghai consulate homepage)  

2. Passport of a parent who has Korean nationality

3. Medical birth certificate, which must be notarized in Korean and then certified by the external affairs office  

4. If the baby was born within 10 months of the date of a marriage registration, mother’s single certificate, which should be notarized and then certified by the external affairs office, is required.
